1. Objectives
1.1 To disseminate project information, introduce the project, and gather opinions and suggestions to create awareness and understanding of the project among the target group.
1.2 To provide an opportunity to receive opinions and suggestions from the target group to be used in considering improvements to the project study to best meet the needs of the people in the area, with minimal impact on the environment and community.
1.3 To enhance knowledge, understanding, and confidence in the project study process, as well as strengthen relationships with the target group in the project area.
2. Project Location
The project route is located on Highway No. 108, starting at km 103+712 and ending at km 104+661, for a total distance of 0.949 kilometers. It covers the area of Moo 1, Ban Ob Luang, Hang Dong Subdistrict, Hod District, and Moo 9, Ban Wang Tuang, Ban Pae Subdistrict, Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province.

Thursday, October 3, 2024, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Chalerm Phra Kiat Auditorium. Hod District Office, Hang Dong Subdistrict, Hod District, Chiang Mai Province
4. Meeting Participants
4.1 Affected parties: Households located more than 500-1,000 meters from the center of the project route and community leaders, totaling 31 people.
4.2 Those responsible for preparing the Environmental Impact Assessment report: Project owner agencies (Planning Division, Highway Department Region 1 (Chiang Mai) and Chiang Mai Highway District 1) and the consulting company, totaling 23 people.
4.3 Government agencies at various levels: Regional, provincial, district, local administrative organizations, and state enterprises, totaling 39 people.
4.4 Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) focused on environmental protection and natural resource conservation, educational institutions, independent academics, and private sector entities, totaling 3 people.
4.5 Media representatives, totaling 1 person.
4.6 General public interested in the project, totaling 36 people.
5. Summary of Public Participation Results
The majority of respondents (92.22%) indicated that the project is suitable because the current road surface is damaged/deteriorated, and the project will improve the convenience, speed, and safety of travel. This includes promoting the transportation of agricultural products. 5.56% did not answer the question, and 2.22% did not express an opinion
