The Department of Highways' Responsibilities

  1. To act in accordance with laws relating to highways, specifically for expressways, national highways, and concession roads, as well as other related laws.
  2. To research and develop the construction, renovation, and maintenance of expressways, national highways, and concession roads.
  3. To cooperate and coordinate with other organizations and agencies, both domestically and internationally, on highway-related matters.
  4. To carry out other duties as assigned by law, or as delegated by the Minister or the Cabinet.
